Case Study #2
Introduction
In the summer of 2019, I participated in the course, Education 747: Supported Literacy. We were given the opportunity to work with a struggling reader for approximately seven hours. This case study required me to: administer reading assessments, describe my findings and conclusions, and propose instructional goals and strategies for the student that I worked with. Ultimately, I needed to report on my analysis of student's reading ability and instructional methods that would benefit the student to improve their reading skills.

Reflection
I completed this case study with a student named Will. He had just finished his first grade school year. Completing this case study with Will allowed me to practice and become familiar with a variety of assessment tools and then put the data together that I was able to gather from the various assessments to draw conclusions about what would be most beneficial for Will's literacy instruction to generate goals for him.
